Rules for accounts, authorized videos, credits, and service use

These Terms govern your use of removetextfromvideo.net and its related video processing service. The service operates under the name Remove Text From Video. By using the service, you agree to these Terms and the linked Privacy, Cookie, and Cancellation and Refund policies.
If you do not agree, do not use the service. Questions can be sent to support@removetextfromvideo.net.
You must be legally able to enter into this agreement and must not use the service if applicable law prohibits you from doing so. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, the security of your login method, and activity performed through your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
One user may run one active video job at a time during the initial release. We may apply reasonable limits needed for security, capacity, or fair access.
You retain your rights in the videos you upload. You grant us and our processing providers a limited, non-exclusive permission to store, transmit, analyze, modify, and return the video only as needed to provide, secure, and support the requested service.
You must own each uploaded video or have permission to edit it. You must not use the service to remove ownership marks from content you do not control, conceal infringement, mislead viewers, evade platform enforcement, or violate another person's privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, or contractual rights.
You may not upload illegal content, malware, sexual content involving minors, content intended to exploit or harm others, or material that you are not authorized to process. You may not probe or bypass security, interfere with the service, automate abusive traffic, resell access without permission, manipulate credits or payment state, or use results to commit fraud or deception.
We may reject a video, suspend processing, limit access, or close an account when reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, the service, or third parties. A safety check may produce false positives or false negatives and does not transfer responsibility for your content to us.
The service attempts to reconstruct regions covered by text. Results vary with motion, text size, compression, scene changes, faces, reflections, and background detail. Artifacts or incomplete removal may remain. You must review the result before publishing, distributing, or relying on it.
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not promise perfect, lossless, uninterrupted, or universally compatible results. Processing time is an estimate, not a guarantee.
One credit represents one second of video processing under the current pricing model. The service shows an estimate before a paid job begins. Credits may be reserved when a job starts and charged once for a valid processing attempt. Failed or rejected jobs release reserved credits under the product rules.
Subscription credits refresh according to the plan shown at checkout and do not roll over unless the pricing page expressly says otherwise. Purchased credit packs expire after the period shown at purchase. Prices, taxes, billing periods, and included credits are displayed before checkout. Stripe processes payments and may apply its own terms, currency-conversion rules, and dispute procedures.
You may cancel a subscription before its next renewal. Cancellation stops future renewal charges and normally takes effect at the end of the paid billing period; it does not automatically reverse a charge already completed. The Cancellation and Refund Policy explains the applicable exceptions.
Completed results are available for a limited period. Source and result media for terminal jobs are scheduled for deletion after 24 hours, and task metadata is scheduled for minimization after 30 days. Download and review your result promptly. We are not responsible for keeping a permanent archive of your files.
We may change, pause, or discontinue features; update limits or pricing for future purchases; or suspend accounts that violate these Terms. When practical, we will give notice of material changes. Terms in effect at checkout govern that purchase, subject to applicable law and provider rules.
You may stop using the service at any time. To request account deletion, email support from your account address. Sections that by their nature should survive, including payment, intellectual-property, disclaimer, liability, and dispute terms, continue after termination.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Remove Text From Video will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits, lost content, or business interruption arising from use of the service. Any aggregate liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.
These Terms do not waive mandatory consumer rights in your place of residence. Because no specific public jurisdiction or venue is designated for the service at this stage, applicable law determines any non-waivable rights and forum. Try to resolve a concern first by emailing support with the account email, task ID, and relevant payment reference.
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and date. Material changes apply prospectively unless applicable law requires otherwise.
