We do not use uploaded videos to train our own models. We do not sell uploaded videos or personal information.
We use the information above to authenticate users, estimate video duration and credits, run safety checks, process authorized videos, deliver results, keep an accurate credit ledger, provide billing and account support, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with legal obligations, and improve reliability.
Before processing starts, you must confirm that you own the video or have permission to edit it. The server records that confirmation with the task.
We use service providers only for the functions needed to operate the product:
These providers may process data in countries other than your own. Their own terms and privacy notices govern their independent processing. We do not send video filenames, video URLs, raw video content, or email addresses to analytics tools.
Marketing newsletters and automatic newsletter enrollment are disabled. We do not send promotional email unless we later provide the required disclosures and an unsubscribe method.
We use Plausible Analytics for aggregate traffic statistics, including page views, referrers, approximate country, browser, operating system, device type, outbound-link clicks, and tagged events. We do not send uploaded video content, filenames, private video URLs, email addresses, or logged-in user identifiers to Plausible. Google Analytics 4 has analytics storage enabled. Advertising storage, ad user data, and ad personalization remain denied. Microsoft Clarity loads for session replay and interaction diagnostics; it uses strict text masking, and the upload tool is explicitly masked to reduce the risk of collecting filenames, video-related text, or account details. We do not enable Google Signals, advertising features, user-ID tracking, or custom events containing account, payment, filename, video, or task data. Essential cookies and technical logs may still be used for authentication, security, language preferences, fraud prevention, and reliable delivery of the service.
Source videos and processed results are stored in private storage and made available to processing providers through short-lived access. When a task is completed, failed, or rejected, its media is scheduled for deletion after 24 hours. Task metadata is scheduled for minimization after 30 days. A limited record of ownership, billing, credit settlement, status, and timestamps may be kept when reasonably necessary for security, accounting, dispute handling, or legal compliance.
The production service will not be opened until the private-storage and scheduled-deletion controls have been configured and verified. Backups and provider-side copies may take additional time to expire under provider policies.
We use access controls, private object keys, authenticated download checks, short-lived provider access, and data minimization measures designed to protect the service. No system can guarantee absolute security. Please do not upload content you are not authorized to process or content that is not needed for the task.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or information about how personal data is used. You may also object to certain processing or withdraw consent where the processing depends on consent.
Self-service account deletion is not currently available. Send a request from your account email to support@removetextfromvideo.net. We may need to verify your identity. Some billing, security, and dispute records may be retained where required or reasonably necessary.
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
We may update this policy when the product, providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised date on this page and provide additional notice when a material change requires it.
